After a mugging in New York City, Rachel Miller is injured and robbed of her memories. David Weaver, her beau, is now a stranger to Rachel along with other close friends, which plunges Rachel’s life into a shamble and sets her on a journey of discovery.

Fear of the unknown grips Rachel, but she is determined to reacquaint herself with her Old Order Amish faith, her community, and her beau David. Each new day reveals a piece of her past. But when the community finds out about her and David's clandestine jaunt to NYC, it could mean she must wait for baptism and acceptance into the faith.

When Rachel regains her memory and truth exonerates her, it strengthens her friendships, and brings her hope and happiness.

When Rachel Remembers by Linda Maran is a sweet and refreshing read with great characters and writing that'll pull you in. It's an inspirational read about the bonds of friendship, love and faith despite adversity.
